PRE-K3                  

The Pre-K3 class is busy learning, through songs, poems, plays, dance and nature.  In this class we introduce the A Beka Curriculum for threes. The A Beka Curriculum will help your child learn phonics, printing, number concepts and art.   Through the A Beka curriculum  we learn a different number, color, shape and letter each week.  We are always learning ways to make God the center of everything we do, by incorporating  Bible adventures and reading God's Holy Word.  

 

The Pre-K3 classroom is divided into learning centers; your child will be given a choice of several different areas to play.  Our centers are designed for your child to have experiences with books, homeliving, art, manipulatives, blocks, music, math, and science.  Weekly lesson plans are posted on the wall behind the door so you are able to see what your child will be learning about that week.   

 

Pre-K3's entering our classroom are ready to experience a more structured classroom.  They enjoy playing in an area with other children and are ready for cooperative play.  Their self-help skills are improving daily and they are growing in independence.  They are also rapidly developing language and enjoy its effect on people around them.
